The Juvenile football planned for this Wednesday, 21st April is off due to a clash with the Clean up Clones Campaign.

The Under 10s are taking part in a Go- Games (9-a-side football) blitz in Aughnamullen this Saturday from 10 to 12. We hope to take around 22 players to this and we will need some parents to drive. Please text John at 0863780515 with Child’s name to confirm availability. If available to drive, please also let me know how many kids you can take. We will be leaving from Coyle’s field at 9am and should return around 12:45pm.

A Coaching Session will take place on Thursday from 7 to 8 at Coyle’s for this group only.

Coaching and Go-Games for all boys and girls born in 2000 and later takes place this Wednesday at Coyle’s from 7 to 8:15. All parents are asked to come along and help out. We had a great turn out of almost 50 kids last week and the more parents we have there, the better.

A meeting of the Juvenile committee takes place this evening at 8:30pm in the Lennard.

A Juvenile Committee meeting will be held this Wednesday, 3rd March at 8pm in the Lennard Arms. This year will see us fielding teams at Under 8, Under 10, two at Under 12, two at Under 14, Under 16 and minor (Under 18s), so anybody who can lend a hand at any of these age groups is more than welcome to attend.

The next phase of our Juvenile Coaching Program takes place on the following dates:

  1. Tuesday, 2nd March.
  2. Tuesday, 9th March.
  3. Wednesday, 24th March.
  4. Wednesday, 14th April.
  5. Wednesday, 21st April.

There will be two sessions on each night:

  1. 6:30 to 7:30 for boys and girls born 2002 and later.
  2. 7:45 to 8:45 for boys born in 2001 and 2002 and girls born from 1998 to 2002.

Registration will take place for the first 15 minutes of each session on Tuesday, 2nd March. We ask that each child attending on this night is accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.

There is no Juvenile Coaching this week.

A meeting is taking place in The Lennard Arms on Wednesday (24th Feb) at 8pm.

We will discuss the future development of our coaching program and try to draw up a rota for the next few weeks. All parents of boys and girls aged 4-12 are asked to attend.

The penultimate evening of Juvenile Coaching takes place tomorrow (Wednesday) evening in St Tiarnach’s Primary School. Under 8s are from 6:30 to 7:30 and Under 12s are from 7:45 to 8:45. We need plenty of volunteers to keep this running smoothly. Anybody available should be at the school 15 minutes before the start time.

A meeting to discuss our plans for underage football for 2010 takes place this (Tuesday) evening at 8pm in the Enterprise Center (Snipe Design). We will present the changes which are taking place in the Competition Structures this year and discuss coaching team for our various underage groups.
