A training session for parents takes place tonight (Wednesday) from 7:30 to 9pm in St Tiarnach’s Primary School. Coaches from Monaghan County Board will show us some of the drills and games we will be doing over the next few weeks. All parents and other coaches are invited to attend.

We are launching our winter coaching program this Wednesday (14th) at 7pm in St Tiarnach’s Primary School. This program will cater for boys and girls aged from 5 to 12. Monaghan County Board are assisting us as part of a pilot scheme to introduce a similar system into every club in Monaghan. In order to make a success of this, we need as many volunteers as possible to help us out for (at least) one Wednesday evening between 28th Ochtober and 25th November. On Thursday the 22nd of October Clones Film Festival will celebrate 125 years of the GAA. The night’s entertainment will include two short films on the GAA followed by a Q & A session with some distinguished guests. The Q & A session will be hosted by GAA fanatic Frank Mc Nally (Irish Times) and will include the following guests Sean Mc Cague (ex president) Seamus Mc Eneaney (Monaghan manager) Pauric Duffy (Director General of the GAA) and Dick Clerkin (County Player). We will also have a representative from the Clones club on the panel.
Tickets for this event are priced at €10, show starts at 8pm
